Skiing in the Allgäu

Skiing paradise Balderschwang

Whether on one or two boards – here in the Allgäu winter sports fans will get their money’s worth in any case. Deeply snow-covered slopes and well-groomed pistes offer skiing pleasures for each taste. Whether fast-paced descent or leisurely mountain experience, everyone decides for him or herself.

Balderschwang offers 30 kilometres of pistes across all degrees of difficulty, accessible via 11 lift systems. Families thus find optimal conditions; depending on the skills of the individual members, skiing even remains a joint pleasure. For lunch, everyone comes together in one of the traditional mountain lodges or at our Fuchsalm, right next to the ski piste. The Fuchsalm invites its guests to share their experiences and to enjoy the warmth of the sun. In addition to that, our Käsehütte awaits you and invites you to stay with its special “delicacies”.

Early practice makes perfect… Enjoy the enthusiasm of the little skiers, when their wobbly knees daringly take their first turns on the children’s training hill. In the expert hands of the skiing and snowboard instructors, the new generation is ideally trained and taken care of here with us in Balderschwang.

To those after extended piste fun, we recommend the “Superschnee Allgäu-Tirol-Kleinwalsertal” ski pass that unites 8 large ski regions and over 500 km of pistes. The skiing season in the Allgäu’s Tannheimer Tal and Kleinwalsertal commences in December and lasts until April.
